Qld: Brisbane bomb scare
The police bomb squad in Brisbane is investigating a suspicious device found in a vehicle
in a light industrial area on the city's eastside.
Police have evacuated one 24-hour premises and are diverting traffic away from Cambridge
Street in Coorparoo.
The suspicious package was reported about 6pm (AEST) tonight.
Firefighters have been placed on standby at the scene.
The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service says the package is believed to be a beer keg
filled with fuel, connected to a battery.
However, police decline to confirm the make-up of the device.
