Qld: Pedestrian killed in island road accident
BRISBANE, Aug 24 AAP - A pedestrian died after being hit by a car while walking alonga road on Macleay Island in Moreton Bay, south-east Queensland, police said today.
The 45-year-old man from Bomaderry, on the NSW south coast, died 45 minutes after theaccident, despite the efforts of paramedics to save him.
The accident occurred at 7.45pm (AEST) yesterday.
